Dear
Clients,
There's
no sense in reinventing the wheel when you can learn from the hard-won
lessons of others. We would like to share with you a list of time
and money saving tips which will assist you while spending time away
from from your lovely home or office. Please read on and if you have
any further questions do not hesitate to contact us for further clarification.
STAY
IN TOUCH WITH YOUR E-MAIL SYSTEM
Some
of the more advanced ISPs like Kicheko offer their clients
a Webmail service which is a web based interface to their e-mail system,
so that no matter where they are, they can get their e-mail.
However,
if you are not Kicheko client, and if your ISP doesn't offer this
service, don't panic! You can look into Mailstart.com
which is a free web-based access provider.
ONLINE
MAPS AND ADVANCE INFORMATION
Before
you leave for a business trip to a place you have not been before,
visit Mapquest.com or Business-trip.com
for maps and a variety of advance information. Sure, you could rely
on the generic maps you get from the car rental agency, but you'd
be better served with detailed turn-by-turn directions especially
for US and European destinations.
CHECK
ON THE WHEATHER
Before
your leave, it is a good idea to check the wheather. That can be done
at Wheather.com or you may simply
click at the wheather button of any major news portal some of which
are listed in our world news
link. Make sure you stand out because of your business acumen, and
not because you arrive for the meeting frozen, overheated or drenched.
EXERCISE
REGULARLY
You
are well advised to schedule exercise time both on the road and as
part of your regular work routine. It will reduce stress, maybe some
weight, and will energize you.
CELL
PHONE AND DRIVING
Never
talk on the cellphone while driving. You are well advised to stop
by and finish your talking before starting to drive again. If your
cell phone has a hands free facility, that should not be an excuse
since the issue here is division of attention and concentration which
definitely affect reaction time in case of emergency.
DON'T
LEAVE YOUR MUSIC
When
travelling, pack a few of your favourite music CDs for the plane ride.
Make sure the car you rent has a CD player. You favourite music will
keep you relaxed and enjoy your new surroundings. Don't assume you
will always get them there.
WHAT
MOBILE EQUIPMENT TO BUY?
When
you are gazing at the sales counter deciding what mobile equipment
to buy, think about who else needs access to your information. How
well can the device you are considering share information with your
desktop and with your collegues?
Safari
