Kicheko offer 'Always On' service with three connectivity options i.e. wireless, cable, and shared hub for full access to e-mail and internet services. These options for implementation are meant to give the client more choices and flexibility to have the type of connection, which is most cost effective depending on site location, network topology and other technical considerations.

'Always On' service is a service whereby a client is connected to the internet full time at high speed. The client has access to the internet all the time after switching on the computer. To initiate this service the client's computer must be connected to our servers all the time. This connection can be either wireless, through a cable, or through a shared hub with other clients in the vicinity of that particular location.

'Always On' connectivity eliminates dependence on quality of telephone lines and associated cost. Kicheko provides customized solutions for the small business and large corporate environments. 'Always On' service is recommended for corporate clients and other high end users who requires a full time connection to the internet with seamless connectivity and high access speeds. 'Always On' service is more expensive than “dial-up” service.

The only limitations of this service are the relatively high equipment and set-up costs. For the wireless solution the speed of access is dictated by line of sight and rain. Rain drops absorbs some of the radio waves thus affecting the speed of connection.

This service is not recommended for individual customers and small businesses with only a few computers and without substantial activity over the internet. If you are only using your connection for mail services and occasional internet access, you are advised to consider “dial-up” as the ultimate service due to its relatively low cost and flexibility.
